We started our boat rentals business, Westside Recreation, back in 2010 with a simple goal—get more people out on the water and make lake days easy. But after being let down one too many times by “mechanics” working on our own fleet, we decided to take matters into our own hands and learn the ins and outs of boat repair ourselves.

What started out of necessity turned into building a skilled team capable of handling everything from routine maintenance to the long list of issues every boat owner eventually faces. Because let’s be real—engines aren’t exactly meant to live on the water, and between the mechanical wear and constant exposure to the elements, boats require serious upkeep.
